Not only did single Day tickets for Comic Con 2010 go on sale , (Make sure you go there soon. Saturday is already 70% sold out!)

Matty Collector released three Masters of the Universe Classic figures. I only got Skeletor because I need to buy SDCC tickets but I'm glad I did. He's already sold out. King Randor & The Goddess are still there.

BUT

Rubber Soul was released for full download on The Beatles: Rockband. XBOX 360 and PS3 can either download the complete album or one song at a time. Us WII owners, get the "one song at a time" option.

Ah Comic Con! I've been attending your show since 2006. I had to Volunteer that year because it was a last minute choice to go. Getting to volunteer, the registering, assignments, were all a piece of cake.

I came back in 2007 with Jaime. We also volunteered that year because we couldn't find cheap flights and were only there for 3 days.  Volunteering was a little tough with having registration take a while but it go done.

We decided that in 2008, we will register. We were actually able to get our hotel first and then get our tickets.

In 2009. tickets were selling out before reg opened for Hotels. We had to get our tickets before we got our hotel. Luckily, we are able to score a hotel and not have to worry about getting refunds.

While at the con, we heard that they were capping preview night and tickets for 4 days were now 100 bucks. We were so broke from shopping, we opted to wait till we got home.

Start of Nov. and they were already sold out for 4 days passes with preview night. Non preview night were still on sale. I was waiting for payday.

2 days for payday, they sold out too. 4 day passes sold out in NOVEMEBER.

We had to settle for 1 day passes for each day.

They went on sale today. The system makes you buy each day as it's own transaction. 4 days times 2 people, that 8 of them. My credit card is going to be thinking WTF?

I managed to buy 2 Friday and 2 Saturday passes for Jaime and I. The system got way to slow and I'm out of money. I'll have to wait till payday for Thursday day pass.

Every year, its gets more and more crazy. They should of figured out how to get the system to allow us to get each day pass in one shot. They should of figured those of us that missed the 4 days passes would be buying single passes.

Granted, it's my fault for not paying attention and thinking pass would sell out early next year. Now I know better.

Now to wait for March for Comic Con Hotels. Ticket reg is nothing compared to getting a hotel room.

For the Holidays, I was planning on going the photo card route. Pick an awesome photo of Jaime, Lilli, and I, uploading it to Walgreens, select a design, and order. It’s not totally creative but simple.

While roaming the interwebz, I came across a blog with these awesome holiday cards!

OMFG LEFT 4 DEAD and LEFT 4 DEAD 2 Holiday Cards!! OMG! Zombies on a Holiday card. These are so up my alley. These ooze Usagi!!

BUT

I don’t think the folks I’d be giving them to would appreciate them. There are a few who love Zombies and I have a few folks who, even though do not like them, they understand my love for them.

So now my question remains, do I go for the photo cards with a Mickey theme or do I attempt to order the Zombies and hope they make it in time….

It looks like I forgot to post some of the stuff I’ve been making in the last few months. I’ve been adding the photos on my facebook but I haven’t been sharing. It’s been a busy crafty year!

I finally took the plunge and signed up for swaps on the craftster.org forum. I have done 3 so far & I just signed up for a 4^th one. They were Comics & Graphic Novel swap, Everything to do with Mario Bros. swap, and Coraline swap. I wasn’t happy with what I did for the Coraline swap.

On top of that I made a few Birthday gifts and 2 things for me. Right now, I’m working on a ton of Christmas gifts. I can post a few because either, my blog doesn’t get read by them or they already know what I’m making. That’s going to be for another post though.

I made 2 Adios Tokidoki etch glasses for Debra. I bought a few things for her from Comic Con but also added the glasses.

Meghan got a cross stitch that reads “Queen of the Kitchen” with crown. Metallic floss is a pain to work with.

For the Mario Bros Swap, I made my partner 2 Yoshi Egg etched glasses. I also included a tray with Baby Mario and Yoshi on it.

For myself, I hand carved a Totoro stamp. I love it! I made it because I read about letterboxing and want to try it. That’s my stamp to leave in books that I find. Now to make the time and hunt for some!

I re discovered my love for perler beads and the first thing I did was a bunch of Super Mario bad guys. You have Shy Guy, Boo, Bullet Bill, Bob-omb, Blooper, and Cheep-Cheep. Boo is made out of Glow in the Dark beads. I framed them and they will hang on my wall. Just need to figure out where.  

Now back to work I go!

Comic Con 4 days passes have completely sold out. I didn't even get a chance to buy one!!

So now, I have to stalk the site so I can get 4 single day passes but depending how much those total up, I might not even go. This is getting ridiculous!

4 months after Comic Con 2009 and they sell out??!! My god!!

Scratch that, pick up for badges with no preview night can only be done starting Thursday. I'm flying in Wednesday.

Now to wait for the stupid hotel lottery.

You guys need to get your SH!T together!! I can go with an hour or two without my sidekick functions.

BUT FOUR DAYS OF NO SERVICE IS FREAKING RIDICULOUS!!

The fact that you couldn’t send out a text message to your customers warning us of the issue at had. You wait for 2 days to get a message POSTED ON YOUR FORUM!!

You guys have no problems sending me a text when I’m past due on my payment or if I short change you by a dollar but you couldn’t send a text saying “Its not your phones. It’s Danger system.”

I had to go around and dig on the internet for information. I had to read it from other people, find out from friends, etc. I was lucky enough to find out before hand NOT to pull out the battery or do a reset. Not only is the service not working but the desktop interface isn’t as well.

All those people who pulled the batter/hard reset lost their contacts and e-mails. Since the phone can’t connect, it can’t re download anything. Again, a text would have prevented that.

It’s been FOUR DAYS and I have a paper weight!!

I think I’m more pissed off about the lack of customer service then not having a working phone.

I got a ticket for Jaywalking on Sunday!!

I went in today and the fine was $174!!

I was going to finally walk in front of a cop who actually cared.

My pen pal from Japan sent me a package today and it was awesome!!!

She sent me three pass holders from Tokyo Disneyland! She went with her son and brother. I had asked her for one and I told her I'd pay her somehow. I got left over yen so I wouldn't mind sending her the cost. She went and got me three!!  I got a Winnie the Pooh, Minnie, and Disney Babies. They will be joining my Stitch pass holder.
