Ashley Greene post

Holding onto a stack of papers in her arms, Ashley Greene grins a pup Marlo before heading to an awaiting limo en route to an airport in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (January 7).

The 22-year-old starlet just premiered her sultry SoBe shots that will be featured in Sports Illustrated’s upcoming Swimsuit issue.

Eager to begin a bento lifestyle!

Hello! I've been a follower/lurker in this community for quite some time. I would really like to create my own bento but I don't know where to begin really. So I have some questions if anyone could please assist me?

1. Where can I buy bento boxes/supplies?
2. Is there a certain kind of food to use in bentos?
3. How would I keep something hot?
4. Is it expensive to do everyday?
5. Are there any tutorials on-line I can look at?

Thank you for your time. ^_^

I got a curling iron for christmas and i've been playing with it for a few days but i'm really having a problem with it. My best friend is a stylist and he told me that when i take a piece to curl, before i wrap it i should spray it with with hair spray and wait for it to dry, then wrap. But i find that it's a) not curling right and b) it's really stiff from the hair spray. I've watched some youtube vids and i still can't get the hang out it Does anyone here have any advice/suggestions on what i can do. I want really loose curls that last throughout the day.

Thanks lovelies.

First Post!

Hello all! This is my first post and I would like to say I love this community sooo much! Ive been cross stitching since I was about 10 or 11 and my grandma taught me. Ive taken a couple of year long breaks and work a little more slowly then I would like. I used to love working with kits, but now Im buying patterns and free handing it. :) I like small projects (like about 3 or 4 inches that are really really cute). Right now Im working on a small one for my boyfriend that is a red heart with tan symbols that are Korean for 'I love you'. I will post pictures when Im finally all the way done. Ive only been working on it for a couple days.

Soooo, my question for everyone is, has anyone made a cross-stitch pattern for a younger guy (mine is about to turn 24) that they LOVED. Ive shown him a couple projects and he seems indifferent to them. I would love to do a Chinese Zodiac wheel at some point for him. Or I know he would love love love a Nightmare Before Christmas cross stitch. Anyone have any good (fairly cheap) ones? Ive been searching google like no tomorrow and haven't found much. :/

Thanks in advance! Happy stitching!

Question

Does anyone have any egg shapers? And if so, how do they work? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to properly shape my boiled eggs... they always crumble. I have better luck getting my rice to shape with these little presses. But I really would like to shape eggs for my bentos, too. Any clues?

How short will you go?

I'm considering getting a petticoat I KNOW will be quite shorter than my favorite jsk. I'm sending it back to be changed to 21 inches (the "skirt" part of the jsk will be 21 inches), but I have the opportunity to change my mind if I do so quickly. The petticoat is 15 inches, the meta organdie one, and I want it so much I'm not changing my mind about it. But this is six whole inches shorter than my jsk D:

should I deal with it, or is this a fatal mistake I should save myself from while I have the chance? I have never worn a petticoat that had been that much shorter than my jsk, have any of you girls? and... will anna house be pissed if I send them an email to change it even though I just sent a confirmation one? xD;;

An Old Bitch Adopts a Child

Actress Jean Smart welcomed a new baby to the family in 2009 as she and her husband Richard Gilliland adopted a 10-month-old girl named Bonnie from China.

The 58-year-old star broke the big news during an appearance yesterday on The Bonnie Hunt Show, revealing that she, her husband and their 19-year-old son Connor traveled to China last year to bring home their daughter Bonnie, who is now 18 months.

Despite their 18 year age difference the proud mom says that her son and daughter are "so smitten," but laughingly adds, "We thought they were going to be closer in age when we first started this!"

Jean is best known for her work on TV series such as Designing Women, 24 and Samantha Who?

China actually has an age restriction for anyone over 50 that cannot adopt a child younger than 2; however, they let the age range slide when adopting a child with special needs.

Electrical parade?

Does anybody know if the Electrical parade will be running in California Adventure by the end of this month? Website seems unclear... they say it's seasonal, but it's not on the schedule and it's not on the "down for maintenance" list...

PSP Recommendations

So, after years of borrowing my sister's or roommate's psps, I've finally gone and gotten my own. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to get psp skins, necessary accessories, movies, or games for the psp?

Games I have/ have played for psp include Mana Khemia, Prinny, Final Fantasy Dissidia, Crisis Core, and Little Big Planet (haven't played it yet though)... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Deadpool Movie Gets The Dark Comedy Writers That Wade Deserves

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Fans of loopy banter and insane violence rejoice — Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, of Zombieland fame, are writing the Deadpool movie. This means the "Merc with a Mouth" film could actually be clever.

Variety announced that Fox has selected Zombieland writers Reese and Wernick to bring Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool film to life.

While there's "no timetable" set the trade speculates that if the script is done by the summer, Reynolds will already be in superhero shape from filming Green Lantern and has a window of opportunity, so what's to stop a quick turnover? Well besides piling two Ryan Reynolds comic book movie releases on top of each other that is.

The writers stated that they wanted to stay true to the mythology of Deadpool, and if their previous Zombieland work is any indication of their wit, then they are a perfect fit for the fourth-wall-breaking, Bea Arthur-loving character.

Simon Cowell Signs Paula Abdul To $4.5 Million-A-Year Contract With “The X Factor?”

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Get ready for another season of Simon and Paula’s signature bickering — on the US adaptation of The X Factor.

Paula Abdul has allegedly inked a $4.5 million contract to bring her loopy commentary to the judges panel on an American version of Simon’s hit UK talent show, The X Factor. That’s interesting, considering the star walked away from her post at American Idol because she failed to secure the $10 million-a-year payday she was vying for.

Apparently, Paula isn’t very good at gambling, is she?

A FOX tipster revealed to The National Enquirer’s Mike Walker: “Simon flew Paula to London and wined and dined her relentlessly over the course of several days, even introducing her to everyone who works on X Factor. But what really clinched the deal was Simon’s pledge that she wouldn’t have to deal with all the nonsense and infighting that she hated on Idol.”

The X Factor America will premiere in 2011.

HI MY NAME IS JAY LENO, BUT YOU CAN CALL ME BITTER & CANCELLED

On The Jay Leno Show tonight, Jay Leno made a few jokes, mostly at NBC’s expense, in response to rumors that the network would be canceling his talk show after a bout of low ratings. While I’m not normally a fan of Leno, as I believe he’s too much of a kiss ass and the definition of “safe” comedy, tonight he was in rare form. (LOL OK, SOURCE)
